The Atlantic District is seeking a motivated insurance professional to run a Farmers agency in Palmyra, VA, leading growth, operations and client service. You will be the face of our firm in the community, with autonomy to manage your schedule and the resources to craft tailored coverage solutions.

Qualifications

• Active Property and Casualty Insurance License is required.
• Three+ years of direct insurance sales or account management experience.
• Strong knowledge of local insurance market trends and policy structures.
• Demonstrated history of building and maintaining a client base.
• Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our client base throughout the Palmyra area.
• Evaluate current client needs and conduct risk assessments to provide tailored policy recommendations.
• Represent The Atlantic District at community events and local networking functions to foster relationships.
• Guide prospective clients through the selection process, ensuring they feel confident and informed about their coverage.
• Collaborate with the wider team to streamline office workflows and enhance the client experience.
• Meet and exceed production goals while maintaining high accuracy and ethical conduct.
