Promise Resource Network Inc. is hiring a Community Inclusion Specialist in Charlotte, NC. This full-time role focuses on transitioning TCL-eligible members to permanent housing and connecting them with services to enhance quality of life and community tenure.

The position requires NC PSS certification, lived recovery experience, strong communication, and a valid NC driver’s license. Benefits include comprehensive health and retirement options, as well as training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist.
• Lived experience with substance use disorder and/or mental health challenges.
• Belief in recovery and peer support philosophy.
• Willingness to receive training and mentoring.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must have a valid NC Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow-through on referrals and coordinate with Program Manager and Alliance staff.
• Provide information about housing, services, supports, and opportunities to promote inclusion.
• Complete required assessment tools and coordinate opportunities based on needs and preferences.
• Use the Mattering framework to improve quality of life.
• Collaborate with Alliance staff and other partners to implement the project.
• Attend weekly program meetings and schedule planning with member and guardians.
• Support member to connect with peers and community resources.
• Provide training and skill-building to prepare for/advance community living.
• Assist in reporting and billing documentation as needed.
