Job summary

JWCH Institute, Inc. seeks a Patient Navigator to greet clients, guide them through services, and coordinate information between front and back office in a Los Angeles clinic.

The role requires strong communication, a minimum of 1 year in client-facing work, and the ability to travel to multiple sites. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable, and a CA driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year front desk or receptionist experience.
• Experience engaging with clients from diverse socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable.
• Valid CA driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients, visitors, and the public with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Identify clients' informational needs through meaningful conversations.
• Assist clients in understanding health system services and access.
• Serve as liaison between clients and medical staff for smooth information exchange.
• Coordinate updates from front/back office for accurate information flow.
• Assist clients with completing forms and streamline admin processes.
• Educate clients about available benefits and refer to Enrollment Specialists.
• Represent the clinic in delivering healthcare services with the Clinic Administrator.
• Travel between sites to support program operations as required.
