Job summary

CHAS Health in Spokane, WA is seeking a patient enrollment coordinator to improve community health outcomes by enrolling and educating patients about CHAS services and managed care contracts. You will work with diverse populations and navigate insurance options and assistance programs.

Position requires in-person interaction, strong communication, and comfort with determining eligibility. A proactive, patient-centered approach and knowledge of local health resources are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Health industry experience strongly preferred.
• Face-to-face customer/patient service experience required.
• Within 90 days of hire, navigator or Enrollment Counselor certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Enrolls patients in Medicaid, CHIP, and Qualified Health plans.
• Educates patients on CHAS Health services and resources.
• Reviews eligibility for insurance, assistance programs, and community resources.
• Tracks enrollments and manages outreach activities in the community.
