The Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation hires a Community Health Aide/Practitioner to deliver primary, acute, chronic, and preventive care at village clinics across rural southwest Alaska. The role requires travel to Bethel or other training sites and the ability to work year-round, including summers.

Applicants must meet education requirements, be nominated by the village council, and be willing to participate in ongoing training and CHAP policies.

Formación

• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Ability to communicate in English; local language is a plus.
• Willing to travel to Bethel and training sites for sessions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide primary, acute, chronic and preventive care at village clinics.
• Offer emergency care as needed and participate in CHAP activities.
• Be available for itinerant coverage to other YKHC villages.
• Lead Health Aide activities if assigned.
