Job summary

Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation seeks a Community Health Aide/Practitioner to deliver primary health care in remote villages and participate in preventive health activities. The role includes itinerant coverage and potential lead responsibilities.

Responsibilities require relocation or residency in the village, English communication, and travel for training. Full-time schedule with regular hours is offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math at an 8th grade level as shown by TABE.
• Must be certified ETT or EMT and attend Health Aide Sessions I-IV to become CHP.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care including acute, chronic, preventive, and emergency care at village clinics.
• Travel to Bethel and training sites for required trainings; itinerant coverage across YKHC villages.
