Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for The Monterra in Austin, TX. The role supports the Community Manager by handling daily financial operations, rent collection, and vendor coordination within a busy apartment community.

You will use Yardi and other PM software to process transactions, prepare reports, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Collaboration with leasing and maintenance teams is essential to maximize revenue and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.

Responsibilities

• Collects and posts rent, fees, and other payments; prepares daily deposits and reconciles bank accounts.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata) and records all transactions accurately.
• Reviews resident files to identify outstanding balances and enforces delinquencies per lease terms.
• Processes invoices from vendors and service providers; coordinates approvals and coding to COA.
• Handles move-outs, deposits, and lease cancellations in accordance with procedures.
• Provides prompt responses to resident inquiries to support satisfaction and retention.
