Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Community Manager to supervise the day‑to‑day operations of the apartment community, implement company policies, and ensure compliant, well‑maintained building management.

You will lead staff, manage budgets, leasing, and risk, while delivering excellent resident service and ensuring occupancy targets are met in a fast‑paced property management environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of property management experience.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define problems and actions.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification before interaction with prospects or residents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and community software applications.
• OSHA knowledge; able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Support staff, foster teamwork, and manage performance evaluations and time sheets.
• Determine transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
• Maintain accurate records for rents, delinquencies, move-ins/outs.
• Prepare annual budgets and ensure rents, late fees are collected.
• Review invoices, make daily deposits, and manage vendor relations.
• Ensure property is fully rented and residents are satisfied.
• Oversee leasing processes and enforce policies with staff.
• Handle emergencies, risk management, and 24/7 coverage expectations.
• Inspect property, note deficiencies, and take action within budget.
