Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day apartment operations and implement company policies for a compliant, well-run community. You will oversee staff, budgets, leasing, and marketing to maximize occupancy and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in property management, strong communication skills, and familiarity with leasing laws. CAM/ARM certifications are a plus, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and leasing practices.
• Experience with budgets, rent collections, and vendor management.
• CAM/ARM certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Support staff, promote teamwork, and manage administrative processes.
• Oversee on-site personnel transitions and promotions.
• Maintain rent rolls, delinquency reports, and financial records.
• Prepare annual budgets and ensure timely rent collection and deposits.
• Review invoices, make timely payments, and handle bank deposits.
• Maximize occupancy through effective marketing and showings.
• Supervise Leasing Agent and Assistant Community Manager
• Ensure leasing complies with laws and verify income/criminal reports.
• Handle evictions, maintenance, and emergency procedures.
