Job summary

Capstone Management Partners, LLC is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support all aspects of community operations, including leasing, budgeting, reporting and resident services. This full-time, non-exempt role requires a customer-focused approach and the ability to work weekends at a San Diego site.

You will assist the Community Manager with leasing tours, occupancy goals, compliance, and staff coordination while maintaining strong relationships with residents and local vendors.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of leasing techniques and sales for conventional multi-family housing.
• Professional customer service experience.
• Experience in multi-family housing and community relations preferred.
• Knowledge of Cardinal Group policies and procedures.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• Experience with Yardi/Entrata is preferred.
• Available to work weekends.
• Willing to travel locally.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Achieve property occupancy goals.
• Manage lead tracking and data entry daily.
• Assist in leasing tours and respond to inquiries.
• Provide courteous response to resident requests.
• Assist in designing a resident retention program.
• Maintain inventory and order administrative supplies for maintenance.
• Submit all administrative forms and reports promptly.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding residents or the property.
• Assist in lease audits when present at a community.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist in interviewing and onboarding of staff.
• Assist in training and scheduling team members.
• Support disciplinary or promotional recommendations for office staff.
• Seek educational opportunities for growth.
• Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
