Essex Property Trust in San Diego, CA, is hiring an Assistant Community Manager to lead community operations in the absence of the Community Manager. You will oversee financials, revenue management, and customer service, while ensuring policy compliance and coordinating with staff.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of industry experience, bookkeeping skills, and a background in sales and service. A high school diploma is required; bilingual or advanced education is a plus.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of industry experience and bookkeeping experience.
• Prior sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Knowledge of budgets and financial statements.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day financials, sales, marketing, maintenance, and admin operations.
• Handle revenue management, collections, and deposits accounting.
• Maintain high-quality customer service for prospects, residents, and vendors.
• Lead collections to keep delinquency within targets.
• Monitor staff tasks, delegate, and provide coaching as needed.
• Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy; manage stakeholder relations.
• Comply with policies, Fair Housing, Landlord-Tenant, OSHA.
