Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist to manage property marketing, leasing, and resident engagement, ensuring a smooth move‑in to renewal process. You will be the community ambassador, creating buzz and delivering exceptional living experiences.

In this role you will guide prospects, applicants, and residents through the application, leasing, and move‑in processes, while maintaining strong relationships and a high level of service across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Property management or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Interpersonal, customer relations and communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Possession of a valid state issued Driver’s License and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to all community inquiries, following Exceptional Living Policies.
• Deliver high resident experience through positive, professional interactions.
• Create Exceptional Living experiences during every resident encounter.
• Attract new prospects via outreach and advertising using our selling features.
• Follow up with qualified prospects per policy.
• Renew residents at end of lease terms when required.
• Monitor and manage the prospective resident waitlist.
• Inspect the property regularly to identify deficiencies.
• Prepare property for daily showings and model units.
• Conduct move-in pre-inspections; move-out inspections with software.
• Coordinate Lifeworks events and activities as required.
• Be knowledgeable of lease agreements and community policies.
• Conduct market surveys of competition weaknesses/advantages.
• Understand company software usage and policies.
