Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience building, mobilizing, leading and developing volunteer teams.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Empower Volunteers: Lead and support a diverse volunteer team implementing disaster services across the assigned area.
• Lead the Program: Implement disaster cycle services within the region or specific functional activities.
• Mission Capacity Building: Develop Disaster Leadership Volunteers to meet responsibilities in readiness, response and recovery.
• Engage Community: Build partnerships with organizations and leaders to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
• Manage in a Matrix: Collaborate with internal partners in a matrix management environment.
