Job summary

The American Red Cross in Texas is seeking a Community Disaster Program Manager to lead volunteer-led disaster-cycle services and coordinate with partners to strengthen community readiness. You will mobilize resources, ensure effective deployment, and support communities before, during, and after disasters.

This role emphasizes leadership in diverse communities, collaboration with internal and external partners, and alignment with the Disaster Cycle Services Concept of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a diverse volunteer team implementing disaster cycle services across the region.
• Develop and sustain partnerships with community organizations and assets.
• Engage communities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
• Act as the Red Cross subject matter expert within the assigned area to maximize presence and engagement.
