Job summary

American Red Cross in Las Vegas seeks a Community Disaster Program Manager to lead disaster services, supervise staff and volunteers, and coordinate preparedness, response, and recovery in the region.

You will work with government partners and local organizations to strengthen community resilience, with deployments at least once a year and ongoing training requirements. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience with 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and volunteers delivering disaster services programs in the region.
• Lead preparedness, response, and recovery activities and partner with government and community groups.
• Engage communities to enhance readiness and resilience.
