Job summary

Acme Residential is seeking a Community Director in Oakland County, MI. You’ll lead all community operations, supervise on-site staff, and partner with the Regional Director to maximize occupancy, financial performance, and resident satisfaction.

You’ll oversee leasing, maintenance coordination, marketing, reporting, and compliance with Fair Housing laws while representing the company professionally. Strong leadership and budget experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience in multi-family residential property management.
• Strong organization, written & verbal communication, and time-management abilities.
• Experience using MS Excel and Outlook.
• Experience using Yardi Voyager and Rent Café CRM preferred.
• 3+ years experience with financial and/or budget management.
• Knowledge and expertise of Fair Housing laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, evaluate and oversee on-site staff.
• Maintain exceptional customer service with residents, vendors and colleagues.
• Assist in lease renewals and ensure notices are sent timely.
• Operate the community within financial guidelines and budget.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs between leasing and maintenance teams.
• Maintain marketing, drive online/local presence, and propose events.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and capital reports.
• Oversee rents and fees collection and demand notices as required by law.
• Lead turnover inspections and eviction processes in line with legal counsel.
