Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a Belonging and Well-Being Champion to foster belonging, health, and connection across membership and wellness experiences. This role blends frontline member engagement with sales and service responsibilities to welcome all, connect members to programs, and support their wellness goals.

You will build relationships, conduct onboarding and wellness consultations, promote memberships, and help drive growth and retention while upholding the YMCA’s

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage members.
• Ability to inspire others and collaborate across departments.
• Experience in customer service or health/wellness coaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage members to foster belonging and wellness goals.
• Promote memberships and services through tours and outreach.
• Onboard new members and conduct wellness consultations.
• Maintain safe, welcoming environment in all YMCA areas.
• Lead programs and events to strengthen community engagement.
