Job summary

The West San Gabriel Valley Family YMCA in Alhambra, CA is seeking a Belonging and Well-Being Champion for a part-time role (up to 29 hours). This position combines member engagement, health support, and sales/service tasks to grow membership and foster inclusive wellness.

You'll greet members, connect them to programs, conduct onboarding, promote memberships, and support healthy living initiatives while upholding the YMCA’s safety and conduct standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; some higher education welcomed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with goal orientation.
• Experience in membership sales, customer service, or wellness coaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, build relationships and connect to programs.
• Promote memberships, conduct tours and follow-ups to close memberships.
• Support healthy living goals and wellness program participation.
• Process memberships and payments while maintaining data integrity.
