Job summary

The Belonging and Well-Being Champion at the YMCA fosters belonging, health, and connection across membership and wellness experiences. This role blends engagement, health support, and service with membership sales to grow and retain participants.

You will welcome members, connect them to programs, lead wellness conversations, conduct onboarding, and promote programs while upholding YMCA Core Values and safety standards. Strong communication and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
• Bachelor’s in PE, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Business, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years in membership sales, customer service, or wellness coaching.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage members to promote belonging and wellness programs.
• Promote membership sales and retention through tours and outreach.
• Provide wellness coaching and assist with program connections.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and positive environment in fitness areas.
• Attend staff meetings and campaigns; uphold Code of Conduct and Core Values.
