Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Oakland/Walnut Creek/Fremont seeks an experienced Physical Therapist to deliver functional rehabilitation in real-world settings such as clients’ homes, schools, and communities. The role emphasizes autonomy, collaborative teamwork, and a focus on independence through daily activities.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in physical therapy, a valid PT license, CPR certification, and ideally 1 year of experience in neuro rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by a relevant board.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of physical therapy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess treatment effectiveness and attend meetings with family.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
