Job summary

Care New England’s Providence Center seeks a Clinical Therapist to deliver outpatient and community-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families. The role involves in-home, school, and office sessions with emphasis on strengths-based, culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a related field.
• RI licensure eligibility within one year of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; reliable transportation.
• Experience in human services preferred; QMHP designation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong documentation skills.
• Cultural competence and commitment to equitable, inclusive services.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and community-based psychotherapy (in-home, in-school, in-office).
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and provide crisis intervention.
• Maintain timely documentation and HIPAA/compliance adherence.
• Travel within the community for client visits and scheduling in evenings.
