Job summary

The Providence Center is seeking a Clinical Therapist to deliver outpatient psychotherapy at the center or in the community within our CCBHC capacity. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to support recovery.

Role includes crisis response, care coordination, and documentation compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. A $5,000 retention bonus is offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services, psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• RI licensure required or QMHP eligibility; licensure includes LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LMFT-A.
• Valid driver's license, registration, and auto insurance.
• Experience in human services and crisis intervention is preferred.
• Commitment to culturally competent and inclusive services.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy for mental health and/or substance use issues using evidence-based practices.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans with the care team.
• Respond to crises, coordinate care with internal teams and community partners.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
• Conduct home visits and community outreach to support clients in natural environments.
