The Providence Center Inc. is seeking a Clinical Therapist to provide outpatient psychotherapy, complete intake assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, and providing individual, group, and family therapy with a focus on confidentiality and quality care. Licensure requirements and driver’s eligibility are outlined in the posting.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in a related mental health field.
• RI licensure required: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT or LMFT-A; certification accepted in lieu of licensure.
• Experience providing substance abuse treatment preferred; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license, registration, current inspection sticker and insured auto.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, referral and treatment planning.
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for assigned consumers.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Information Services requirements.
• Collaborate with other providers and agencies within the consumer's network of care.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and participate in trainings and professional development.
