Job summary

The Providence Center is seeking a Clinical Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy within our Child and Family Services. This role includes comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions to support recovery.

Responsibilities include crisis response, care coordination with internal teams and community partners, thorough documentation, and commitment to ethical and regulatory standards. Travel within the community may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Rhode Island licensure: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, or LMFT-A; certification accepted in lieu of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with clients and families.
• Respond to clinical emergencies; crisis intervention and risk management as needed.
• Coordinate care with care teams and community partners; attend meetings and case reviews.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory and agency compliance.
• Travel within the community as needed for home visits, school meetings, and outreach.
