Job summary

FirstService Residential in the United States seeks a Community Association Manager to lead and manage the community per Board direction. You will oversee operations, compliance and staff, ensuring alignment with budgets and governance documents.

You will partner with boards, emergency services, and external partners to deliver community services, while maintaining strong communication and accountability across all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent).
• Seven years of community management experience or equivalent, with at least 4 years leading staff.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and oversight of operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to develop short- and long-term plans.
• Review organization structure and roles; advise Board on changes.
• Partner with public, private and volunteer organizations to deliver community services.
• Support Board sub-committees and ensure alignment with governance documents.
• Maintain knowledge of governing documents and recommend revisions.
• Ensure day-to-day operations, staff oversight, and fiduciary compliance.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets with Board approval.
• Monitor monthly financial position and report to stakeholders.
• Lead Board meetings with clear agendas and follow-up.
