Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Community Association Manager to lead Board-driven initiatives, oversee operations, and ensure compliance across the community. You will serve as the single point of contact, coordinate staff, manage budgets, and enhance communication between the Board, residents, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and three years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction.
• Seven years of successful community management experience, incl. 4 years leading staff.
• Experience managing multiple departments in a small/medium org.
• Understanding of building management, condo law, financial planning and property management law.
• Valid driver’s license and state-mandated vehicle insurance.
• Commitment to obtain CPM, PCAM, ARM or AMS designations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for goals and action plans to achieve Board objectives.
• Review organization structure and functions; advise Board on changes.
• Partner with public, private and volunteer organizations to provide community services.
• Support Board sub-committees.
• Create and implement annual working budget with Board approval.
• Monitor monthly financial position of the association.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise all community staff.
