Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an Interim Community Association Manager to guide operations for a community on behalf of the Board. You will lead staff, ensure financial oversight, and supervise day-to-day activities while aligning with the Board’s mission and the community’s needs.

You will oversee contracts, compliance with governing documents, and coordination with emergency services, ensuring effective communication and strategic planning for ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; three years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction.
• Seven years of community management experience, including 4 years leading staff.
• Management experience in a small/medium organization with multiple departments preferred.
• Understanding of Condominium law, financial planning and property management.
• Valid Driver’s License and State Mandated Vehicle Insurance.
• CPM, PCAM, ARM or AMS designations or equivalent encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction in short- and long-range plans; lead annual goal setting.
• Review organization structure and functions; advise Board on changes.
• Collaborate with public, private and volunteer groups to deliver community services.
• Supervise staff and ensure day-to-day operations meet the association’s needs.
• Develop and monitor budgets; ensure compliance with governing documents and laws.
• Attend Board meetings, prepare reports and follow up on priorities.
