Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a General Manager to lead the overall operation and governance of a community, ensuring adherence to the Board's mission and vision. The GM will oversee client relationships with boards, committees, and residents, and coordinate with City/County agencies and utilities in addition to staff leadership.

The role requires strong budgeting, governance, and executive decision-making skills, with a focus on risk management and long-term community value.

Qualifications

• Must possess CMCA or CAI designation or actively pursuing.
• Minimum of three years of General Manager experience in community management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Management experience in a multi-department organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to develop short- and long-range plans aligned with Board objectives.
• Review organization structure and functions; propose changes to the Board.
• Partner with public, private, and volunteer organizations to provide community services.
