Associa is seeking a Community Associate (Manager in Training) in Southport, North Carolina. This full-time, salaried role immerses newcomers in HOA management as they shadow managers and work toward becoming a portfolio manager.

You will learn budgeting, financial reporting, vendor coordination, and board communications while advancing through a defined learning path and mentorship. Training includes monthly meetings and on-site exposure.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in learning new technology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proven capability to review and analyze financial reports.
• Grasp of contractual bidding processes.
• Knowledge of proper meeting order.
• Familiarity with the architectural request process.
• Ability to create and maintain a proper working budget.

Responsabilités

• Maintain open communication with boards of directors and homeowners.
• Prepare and present budgets to boards.
• Analyze monthly financial reports and create variance reports.
• Create monthly management reports.
• Coordinate with vendors for community maintenance projects.
• Oversee daily operations of portfolio communities.
• Attend board and internal team meetings.
• Supervise administrative and maintenance staff when applicable.
