CAMS is seeking a Community Associate (Manager in Training) in Charleston, SC. This full-time, salaried role immerses you in community management, shadowing managers, and progressing to a portfolio manager as you gain expertise.

You will work with a team of specialists, handling budgets, financial reports, vendor coordination, and daily operations across multiple communities. The program includes mentoring, regular check-ins, and staged responsibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Property management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to review financial reports.
• Understanding of budgeting and vendor coordination is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present budgets to boards.
• Analyze monthly financial reports and create variance reports.
• Create monthly management reports.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance projects.
• Oversee daily operations of a portfolio of communities.
• Attend board meetings and internal team meetings.
• Supervise staff when applicable.
