Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a Route Service Representative (RSR) to manage an assigned route, deliver and pick garments, and grow customer relationships. You will operate a company truck, engage with customers daily, and maintain safety and reliability across both indoor and outdoor environments.

You will be paid on a commission basis from day one, with opportunities to upsell products and services to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT compliance requirements including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using new technologies to boost efficiency.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers on an assigned route, delivering and picking garments daily.
• Assist service team with loading and unloading route trucks.
• Ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and returns with high customer satisfaction.
• Grow customer relationships by addressing needs and upselling products and services.
• Identify upselling opportunities to increase route revenue and earning potential.
• Represent UniFirst on the road by operating a walk-in truck and prioritizing safety.
• Maintain safety by working in indoor and outdoor environments and following standards.
• Troubleshoot service issues, manage inventory, and ensure route compliance.
• Maintain a predictable schedule by servicing the same customers each week.
