Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a Route Service Representative (RSR) to manage a dedicated route, delivering and picking garments daily while building strong customer relationships. You’ll work independently, with commissions on growth, and represent UniFirst with safety and professionalism.

The role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, no nights or weekends, and opportunities to upsell products and services on your route.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• DOT compliance including physical exam.
• Strong customer service skills; ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable using new technologies.
• Physical stamina: able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned route: primary contact for customers, delivering and picking garments daily.
• Support daily operations: load/unload route trucks, ensure accuracy.
• Deliver consistent, reliable service: on-time deliveries and returns; maintain customer satisfaction.
• Grow customer relationships: build rapport, address service needs, upsell products.
• Drive sales growth: identify upselling opportunities to expand route revenue.
• Represent UniFirst on the road: operate walk-in truck, prioritize safety, reinforce relationships.
• Engage in a physically active role: indoor/outdoor work with energy and safety focus.
• Contribute to service excellence: troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, ensure safety standards.
• Maintain a predictable schedule: Monday–Friday daytime, no nights or weekends.
