Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales in one of our retail stores. You will engage customers with cutting-edge technology, uncover needs, and provide top-down solutions while building long-term relationships.

The role offers base pay of $16.00–$21.00 per hour with potential annual commissions up to $18,000, plus top-performer incentives that can push earnings well beyond $65,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known 4 weeks in advance).
• Open to pick up additional shifts to earn more income, especially during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to grow the Verizon network.
• Learn customer needs by connecting and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations for a complete top-down solution.
• Close sales using strong communication to meet customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Continue developing through training and upskilling in merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow customer base via outbound calls and texts to interested customers.
• Engage with the community outside the store at Verizon-sponsored events.
