Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales in one of our retail stores. You will engage customers, uncover needs, and recommend top-down tech solutions with a focus on service excellence.

You can earn a base pay of $16.00–$21.00 per hour plus commissions up to $18,000 yearly, with top performers potentially reaching $65,000–$75,500 annually. Benefits start day one and include health, tuition assistance, and discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of relevant experience or military service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Open to pick up additional shifts during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales through passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by asking questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations for a complete solution.
• Close sales using strong communication to meet customer needs.
• Develop through ongoing training and inventory functions.
• Possibly contact current Verizon customers with outbound calls and texts.
• Engage with the community at Verizon events to grow loyalty.
