Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales in one of its retail stores. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and identifying customer needs to provide complete tech solutions.

You’ll participate in ongoing training and may perform outbound outreach to expand the customer base. Compensation includes base pay $16.00–$21.00 per hour plus individual-based commissions up to $18,000 annually, with top performers potentially earning $65,000–$75,500+ per year.

Qualifications

• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you’ll know your schedule four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to existing Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community outside of the store at Verizon events to expand loyal customer base.
