Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales in a Verizon retail store. You will engage customers with cutting-edge tech, uncover needs, and propose complete top-down solutions.

Expect ongoing training, potential community events, and opportunities to increase earnings through a commissions program. Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with commissions up to $18,000 annually and potential top earnings between $65,000 and $75,500.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you'll know your schedule four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging technology passion and customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using strong communication to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Engage with Verizon customers via outbound calls and texts to grow the customer base.
• Represent Verizon at off-site events to expand loyalty and partnerships.
