RockBridge Search & Recruitment is seeking an analytical Underwriter in Seattle to balance risk with opportunity and help borrowers secure financing. You will assess commercial loan requests, review financial statements, and prepare credit memorandums that clearly articulate recommendations.

You will collaborate with Commercial Relationship Managers, ensure compliance with credit policies, monitor portfolios, and present findings to credit committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of commercial underwriting or credit analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial loan requests and assess overall creditworthiness.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, cash flow analyses, and collateral information.
• Prepare comprehensive credit memorandums with clear recommendations.
• Identify potential risks and propose practical solutions to strengthen loan structures.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial Relationship Managers throughout the lending process.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify developing trends or concerns.
• Present findings confidently to credit committees and senior leadership.
• Stay current on market conditions, industry trends, and economic factors that influence lending decisions.
