Job summary

RockBridge Search & Recruitment in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Commercial Lender to build a high-performing loan portfolio and advise clients on financing options. You will develop relationships with business owners, developers, and executives to deliver tailored financial solutions that support growth.

The role requires a strong background in commercial lending, underwriting, and relationship management, with the ability to collaborate with Credit, Treasury, Private Banking, and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial lending and relationship management experience.
• Proven success developing new commercial banking relationships and growing loan portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of commercial credit underwriting and financial statement analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a diverse commercial loan portfolio through strategic business development efforts.
• Build long-term relationships with business owners, commercial real estate investors, professional service firms, and middle-market companies.
• Analyze commercial credit requests and structure customized lending solutions that meet client objectives while maintaining sound credit quality.
• Negotiate loan terms, pricing, collateral requirements, and covenant structures.
• Identify opportunities for treasury management, deposits, merchant services, and additional banking solutions.
• Partner with Credit Administration, Treasury Management, Private Banking, and Executive Leadership to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Perform detailed financial statement analysis, cash flow evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Monitor portfolio performance and proactively manage credit quality.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines, lending policies, and underwriting standards.
• Represent the bank at networking events and community functions.
