Commercial Service Account Manager - West Virginia

As the Commercial Service Account Manager, you will pursue opportunities for service agreements, quick-turn projects, and large modernization projects to ensure our customers operate effectively. This role suits those skilled in building relationships, providing outstanding customer service, and working with cross-functional teams. It requires assessing both immediate and future customer needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Sell Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (service agreements, repairs, modernizations)
  • Create and maintain sales territory and account plans
  • Present at customer seminars to develop relationships and opportunities
  • Promote Carrier's value proposition in relation to customer objectives
  • Manage customer interactions and pipeline using CRM
  • Attract new customers and build share with existing ones
  • Identify and pursue new service agreement opportunities
  • Respond to repair opportunities
  • Establish credibility with knowledge of Carrier products
  • Develop and sustain customer relationships
  • Articulate the value of Carrier solutions to meet customer needs
  • Detect customer buying stages and adapt sales strategies
  • Communicate effectively and prioritize opportunities
  • Respond promptly to customer requirements
  • Secure bookings and orders timely
  • Achieve sales metrics and targets
  • Negotiate service agreement renewals
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of Commercial HVAC sales experience
  • Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, work on roofs/platforms
  • Pass MVR background check
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% within territory
Preferred Qualifications
  • Comfortable with Microsoft software in technical environments
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and goal-oriented skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience selling directly to end users and service agreements
  • Ability to cross-sell and upsell within customer base
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
