Commercial Service Account Manager - West Virginia

As the Commercial Service Account Manager, you will pursue opportunities for service agreements, quick turn projects, and large modernization projects to keep our customers operational.

This role is ideal for those skilled in building relationships, delivering outstanding customer service, and working with cross-functional teams. It requires assessing both immediate and future customer needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Sell Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (service agreements, repairs, modernizations).
  • Create and maintain sales territory and account plans.
  • Present at customer seminars to develop relationships and opportunities.
  • Promote Carrier’s value proposition linking customer objectives to solutions.
  • Manage customer interactions and opportunities using CRM.
  • Attract new customers and build share value with existing ones.
  • Identify and pursue new service agreement opportunities and repair needs.
  • Build credibility with knowledge of Carrier products/solutions.
  • Develop and sustain strong customer relationships.
  • Articulate the value of Carrier’s offerings effectively.
  • Adjust selling strategies based on the customer’s buying stage.
  • Communicate effectively and prioritize opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to customer requirements.
  • Secure bookings and orders efficiently.
  • Achieve sales metrics and annual targets consistently.
  • Negotiate service agreement renewals as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2+ Years of Commercial HVAC Sales Experience.
  • Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work on roofs/platforms.
  • Pass a MVR background check.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% within the territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Comfort with technical environments and Microsoft software.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience selling directly to end users and service agreements.
  • Ability to cross-sell and upsell within customer base.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive in selling preventative repair and upgrade packages.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
