Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years lending/credit experience in community or industry.
• Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with credit underwriting and loan documentation.
• Ability to work independently or in a team to meet goals.
• Familiar with CRM and prospecting tools (Salesforce, nCino or similar).

Responsibilities

• Business development focusing on new client acquisition and expanding existing relationships.
• Develop networks of external referral sources and COIs to attract clients.
• Maintain and grow assigned portfolios; cross-sell bank products.
• Negotiate terms of lending agreements and prepare credit packages.
• Ensure current financial information is analyzed and kept on file; monitor credit quality.
• Oversee loan closings to ensure documents reflect agreed terms and are signed.
