Job summary

Rentokil is seeking an Account Executive to grow our commercial pest management business across hospitality, food & beverage, healthcare and retail sectors. You will develop new opportunities through cold calling, networking and referrals while maintaining a customer‑focused service culture.

You will inspect sites, present pest control solutions, and craft territory development plans aimed at exceeding sales targets. Travel up to 100% within assigned territory is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Two years of business‑to‑business sales experience, especially cold calling, lead generation, and networking.
• Self‑motivated, hunter mentality with the ability to work independently.
• Will be required to obtain any required industry licenses (provided and paid for by the company).
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).

Responsibilities

• Create new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, leads, referrals, and cross‑selling.
• Visually inspect buildings for pests, harborage, entries, and other infestations.
• Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance for commercial customers based on assessment findings.
• Craft territory development strategies that exceed sales targets.
• Maintain complete knowledge of Rentokil’s programs, protocols, pricing, and service offerings.
• Build partnerships and collaborate with internal departments to maximize growth opportunities.
• Complete daily activities and sales performance reports using the company sales CRM.
