Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to manage a portfolio of commercial relationships and loans. You will coordinate with Credit Administration on financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, and annual servicing, while monitoring the financial condition of the portfolio.

This role involves reviewing maturing loans, renewals, and liability management with Lending Assistants and CLUs to ensure timely file updates.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or finance, or related experience.
• 1–3 years of commercial credit analysis or loan underwriting experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers and designees to collect financial statements.
• Assess creditworthiness and merits of loan renewals for CTL/AE.
• Coordinate with lenders to renew commercial loan relationships and prepare credit memos.
