Landmark Credit Union in New Berlin or Appleton, WI, seeks a Commercial Banking Operations professional to assist with loan closing documentation, package preparation, and post-closing activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and three years of direct experience in business/commercial documentation and/or auditing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and systems related to business lending.
• Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of business loan, real estate, and business asset documentation preferred.
• Ability to organize work, balance priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to use independent judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset.
• Knowledge of company policies and state and federal laws related to the role.

Responsibilities

• Review loan closing documentation order and attachments; obtain missing information from administrator/lender as needed.
• Prepare all documents for loan closing and review for accuracy and compliance; may involve peer review and disbursement activities.
• Book the loan to core system after closing and handle related disbursements, liens, and title work.
• Complete and update checklists to verify process completeness and follow-up on exceptions.
• Complete management and compliance reports in required software.
• Create and update exceptions for missing documents and lien filings; track and update as received.
• Assemble business files and organize documents; send original signature files to vault.
• Provide backup to Administrative and Servicing Staff as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
