Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator to support Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers in processing and closing commercial loans. You will ensure due diligence, coordinate closing dates, and align loan data with credit approvals, working closely with Loan Operations and other departments.

The role requires a 2+ year background in Commercial Loan Operations, knowledge of loan documentation, and familiarity with the nCino platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in Commercial Loan Operations or Commercial Banking loan support.
• Knowledge of legal documentation and loan structure.
• Paralegal experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking products and services.
• Prior experience with Commercial nCino platform is preferred.
• Proficiency with personal computers and pertinent software packages.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, as well as collaborating as part of a team.
• Ability to work under time constraints and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Determine due diligence required for each deal and communicate requirements to team, client, and attorney.
• Identify needed modifications to loan documents based on preliminary review.
• Validate due diligence requirements and KYC status with Loan Operations Closers and Flood Specialist.
• Assist RM with coordinating closing dates and outside counsel involvement.
• Ensure loan fees are reflected and processed within prescribed timeframes.
• Support the closing process by validating documentation complies with credit approval.
• Assist in post-closing review and delinquency clearance as needed.
• Participate in departmental projects and maintain internal controls.
