Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is hiring a Commercial Loan Documentation Coordinator to ensure accurate, timely closing processes. You will partner with Commercial Bankers, Loan Operations, and Legal, driving service excellence while mitigating risk.

The role emphasizes document integrity, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across lending, operations, and legal teams. A minimum two years in lending support is expected, with opportunities for professional growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associateegree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; HS diploma with post-secondary training or certs acceptable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong business writing and communication.
• Understanding of commercial lending forms, regulatory requirements, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial loan closings; prepare, review, and validate closing documents to meet compliance.
• Serve as liaison between Commercial Banking Officers and Loan Ops; address post-closing conditions.
• Draft internal/external communications including board memos and legal letters.
• Maintain sensitive client files per data governance and confidentiality standards.
• Prepare complex reports for executive review, internal audit, and Board materials.
• Support commercial customers with loan inquiries, transactions, and account maintenance.
• Manage ledger entries and processing of loan payments, deposits, and transfers.
• Support leadership through special projects, process improvements, and meetings.
• Maintain ongoing regulatory adherence and training compliance.
