Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator to support Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers in processing and closing commercial loans. You will ensure due diligence, coordinate closing activities, and keep loan data accurate across systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience with 2+ years in Commercial Loan Operations. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in banking software and PC

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field or commensurate experience in commercial banking lending.
Minimum 2 years in Commercial Loan Operations or Commercial Banking loan support.

Responsibilities

Determine due diligence required for each deal and communicate requirements to team and client.
Identify needed modifications to loan documents based on preliminary review.
Validate due diligence with Loan Operations and Flood Specialist; confirm KYC status.
Coordinate closing date with external counsel and RM; review loan documents preliminarily.
Ensure all loan fees are reflected and processed within prescribed timeframes.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain strong partnerships and resolve discrepancies.
Support closing package readiness for funding and post-closing issue resolution.
