Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines in a role supporting a Los Angeles book. The position requires active P&C licensing and PT hours aligned with Pacific Time, with open remote/hybrid flexibility for CA/NV/OR/WA/AZ residents.

You will manage a book of business, coordinate admin tasks, and handle renewals, billing, and claims while leading a team to deliver exceptional service and policy accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned book of business to ensure retention and grow new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service tasks.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor expirations, renewals, and submissions; negotiate coverages.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the team.
• Deliver proactive service and seek continuous improvement.
• Lead the account management team in daily activities.
