Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines in California to manage an assigned book of business, retain clients, and support new business.

The role requires an active P&C license, ability to work Pacific Time hours, and collaboration with IOA - Los Angeles. A hybrid work setup may apply within company policy; remote work is allowed within eligible states with occasional onsite as needed.

Formación

• Active P&C license required.
• 3+ years account management or 5+ years in insurance.
• Knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, and claims.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency systems and data accuracy.
• Monitor activity and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain communication with the account team about workload status.
• Deliver excellent service and anticipate client needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek and adopt best practices to improve performance.
