Job summary

HUB International in North Carolina seeks a Commercial Lines Account Manager to expertly manage a book of insurance business and provide professional service to clients, underwriters, and partners. You will support Producers, drive client retention, and pursue new business opportunities as appropriate.

Qualified candidates bring at least 3 years in insurance, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Office tools. This role emphasizes detail, teamwork, and ongoing client engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applicable insurance/agency experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service and problem-solving orientation.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of commercial insurance clients with independence.
• Collaborate with Producers on client service, marketing, and renewals.
• Prepare and process all transactions and documentation for accounts.
• Assess clients’ objectives and compare plans for suitability.
• Develop new business from existing accounts and leads as appropriate.
• Attend client meetings and document conversations in systems.
